Music is much more than notes on a paper.  It is a combination of many disciplined aspects to form sounds that can evoke the soul. Being fully aware of this, the mission of the Struthers High School Band is to teach and bring music into the lives of young adults that are willing to accept it.  In doing this, students will learn the following aspects that are necessary to create music: tone, balance, rhythm, style, technique, and musicality.  The concepts of stage presence and becoming a visual performer also are introduced to students to prepare them for our many performances and also for the rest of our lives.....
